As part of the preparations for the 2028–2034 programming period, the Interreg Alpine Space Programme is gathering views on the key challenges and development opportunities facing the Alpine region. You are invited to take part in an online survey and contribute proposals for the future of transnational cooperation and the development of new thematic priorities for the programme. The survey is open until 26 October 2026.
The Interreg Alpine Space Programme promotes transnational cooperation between Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Slovenia and Switzerland.
As part of the preparations for the new programming period beyond 2028, we would like to gather feedback from the wider public on the key challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of the Alpine region.
A territorial analysis has identified 19 shared challenges, grouped into four thematic areas. For each area, you can also review initial proposals for potential measures to support transnational cooperation.
We invite you to share your views and suggestions to help shape the future of the programme. Do the identified challenges and thematic areas reflect the most important needs of the Alpine region? Which topics should be added or improved?
➡️The survey is available here:
