At the career fair organised by MojeDelo.com on 15 October 2026 at the Cankar Hall, visitors learned about the diverse nature of police work. They explored employment opportunities and career development within the Police. A display of equipment used by police officers gave visitors insight into an interesting, dynamic, and highly responsible profession that contributes to community safety and security.
In addition to skilled and dedicated personnel, the successful performance of police duties also depends on modern equipment, knowledge and cooperation. EU funding from the Internal Security Fund (ISF) contributes to these efforts and has co-financed some of the equipment on display. The Internal Security Fund supports projects for strengthening the Police’s capacities to prevent crime, combat terrorism and organised crime, and cooperate with the competent authorities of other Member States.
We are pleased that EU funding contributes to strengthening the role of the Police and improving working conditions, while events such as this help introduce the policing profession to potential future colleagues.
